- When does the trip take place?
- Most of the past trips were
in the last week of july.
Couple trips were in the first or second week of September.
The advantages and/or disadvantages of the two seasonal time frames are subject
to individual preference.
- While the September trip
is relatively free of bugs, it has less daylight hours and can get chilly
and or rainy.
- The July trip has many flies
and mosquittos, but has daylight until almost 11:00pm and is usually
fairly warm.
- WE HAVE EXPERIENCED NO APPRECIABLE
DIFFERENCE IN THE FISHING BETWEEN THE TWO DATES.
What about the TRAVEL timing?
- Leave on a Friday or Saturday
morning between 08:00am and 10:00am.
- The day is spent on the road
with various pit stops, until eventually reach Thunder Bay, Ontario,
